Translation:
Mother Yashoda is milking a cow; A child is holding a glass and crying;
Wishing to beg for and drink milk; He kisses Mother Yashoda's cheek ||
Mother gives the milk to the child; He drinks it and cries again; He smiles
when he gets milk; The smiling face is beautiful to behold ||
The child wears anklets on feet; A gold chain on the hips; Jewelled bangles
on the arms; Hair is tied and adorned with a peacock feather ||
One day, that child ate sand; Mother tied the child and took a stick; She
opened the child's mouth and bent down to check; She saw the whole universe
in the child's mouth and got terrified ||
Mother tied the child to a big mortar; The child fell down with the mortar;
Two men appeared; He blessed them and granted them liberation ||
Everybody, listen to who this child is; He is the ruler of three worlds - He
is Balakrishna; He is an avatar of MahaVishnu; Sing His praises with all
your mind.
